Enjoy umbrella and beach chair rentals on the shore of Waikīkī’s most famous stretch of beach! Relax under your umbrella set in front of The Royal Hawaiian Hotel — a great place to take in the sights of the beach and to people-watch.
Your reservation guarantees you securing of your set(s) only, not securing any location on the public beach. Upon your checking in, we will try our best to accommodate seating preferences (i.e., front row, back row, etc.) based on availability for that day. Guest(s) must be present and ready to use their umbrella and chairs for us to place them on the public beach.
Please note that while we may be sold out online, items may be available for same-day walk-ups due to cancellations.

Available between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily (Last check-in for umbrella sets is 4:00pm)

- Each umbrella set comes with two chaise lounges and one umbrella.
- Once reserved online, you’re guaranteed an umbrella set for the specified date(s).
- Our staff will help set up the umbrellas and chairs in the sand as a courtesy.
- Guest(s) must be present and ready to use their umbrella and chairs in order for us to place them on the public beach.
- Umbrella set guests may check in at our desk as early as 7:00 a.m.
- Hourly and a la carte pricing is available at the service desk and same day only (no advance or online reservations for hourly).
- Towels are not provided unless you are a registered guest of The Royal Hawaiian.
